portlandia:

Sneak peak! Phil McAndrew shows us what happens when Toni and Candace bring their special touch to the Portland Trail Blazers.

I was hired to create a little GIF promo illustration for tonight’s episode of PORTLANDIA. I had to break it up into a four panel GIF comic to fit it on tumblr, but you can see the original version over here on my website.

An old photo that I came across while looking for something else. Taken in a conference room at Cartoon Network in 2012, right before pitching storyboards for the pilot I had in development. You can read a little bit more about that whole experience right over here.

Almost exactly one year ago…

I was visiting Los Angeles for the first time and pitching the project that I now have in development at Cartoon Network.

I mentioned this here a while ago: I’ve been asked to act as the juror for a comic and storyboarding art exhibition. I get to decide who wins a bunch of money!
If you’ve been planning to submit work, the deadline to have your art in the mail is NEXT WEEK. All the info is here.

My first GIF ever. And it’s actually for a job.
Watch out, internet. There’s no stopping me now.

From that time in 2009 when I was given a chance to try out for a storyboard job and I drew like 50 pages in less than 48 hours. It was really fun!
